In Uganda pneumonia alone is be enough to kill an 18 month old child, but accompanied by an incredibly severe case of malnutrition due to lack of protein…made her shot at life even slimmer.
Through my tears, I began to pray, but even then, when I was on my knees before the Lord, I still had a sinking feeling that the Dr was right. And as she worsened it seemed inevitable that Harriet would die before the morning.

Well today is Friday. Harriet is still alive!!! And her pneumonia is gone! We are being discharged from the hospital this morning!
This morning I heard one of the Muslim doctors say “I don’t know how that girl lived, but she should have died; it doesn’t make sense to me?” I have no words to express how thankful I am that God choose to save Harriet, to literally perform a miracle. And I am continuing to pray that He will work a miracle in the hearts of the those who worship a false God.
"He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted."
Job 5:9
Thank you for this post. I continue to pray for you.
